There are few more captivating seaside settings than the one enjoyed by the Happy Day Estate, a luxurious family retreat with a private path leading to the beach. Here in the heart of Longboat Key, you'll spend your days swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, lounging by the saltwater pool, and basking in the Florida sunshine on wide terraces and verandas.
Set back behind gates on a lush piece of beachfront property, the estate comprises three separate buildings - a three-bedroom main house, a two-bedroom beach house, and a one-bedroom carriage house. A path leads you right from the yard to the beach, with chairs, umbrellas, and an outdoor shower available for your use. There's even a local favorite lunch spot just across the road.
Designed in the style of a French chateau and draped in climbing vines, the two-story main house is full of wonderful gathering spaces. There are two living rooms, two dining rooms, and a well-equipped kitchen to choose from - all with direct access to the sun-splashed outdoors. The three bedrooms upstairs - one of which is an expansive primary suite - all have attached bathrooms, TVs of their own, and French windows that capture the warm Gulf breezes.
What makes the estate so well suited to extended families are the separate beach house and carriage house, each of which has its own living space, kitchen, TV, and washer/dryer. You'll find two bedrooms in the beach house and one more in the carriage house. Rounding out the in-home features are central air conditioning and complimentary WiFi.
