Please note: SOME ARE FISHING ONLY Like Lake Istopokoga shallow but great for fishing. ALSO...because lake levels can and do fluctuate you cannot always get a boat or jet ski between Lake June and another lake

PLACID DAYS!! is the name of this pet friendly home in beautiful Lake Placid Florida...just a few minutes by boat to Lake June.. Placid Lakes is on the south side of Lake June. Placid Lakes offers a private park with playground/restrooms/grills and pavilions with picnic tables and boat ramp on Lake June just for Placid Lakes owners and guests only!
Lake June is a 3500 acre fresh water multi use lake for those who want to enjoy fishing, wake boarding , tubing or just taking a relaxing cruise on the lake to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the lake.
Some lakes that lead to Lake June are either a 45 minute boat ride or depending on water levels may not be accessible to Lake June.
Placid Days is a quick 3-5 minute boat ride to Lake June and on hot days...minutes count!!
Spend the weekend, week or month at this beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath canal home with (office for those who have to work during their stay ...sorry )
After a day on Lake June ( 3 minute boat ride) watch the fantastic sunset then head back to the house and dock your boat or jet ski
THEN
ENJOY an evening of fun with family and friends, swimming in your PRIVATE SCREENED POOL AND LANAI (no swarms of lake bugs or mosquitoes to ruin your fun)
(Please note: THE POOL IS NOT HEATED DURING THE FALL OR WINTER !!!!! If you would like the pool heated please let me know and it can be arranged for an additional fee of $30.00 per day (rental must be at least a week) payment can be made upon or during stay. Monthly rentals include $100.00 of electricity overage may be paid directly to home owner. A copy of the electric bill will be sent to renter when we receive it from Duke Energy.
Make dinner:
grilling your favorite foods on the grill. After dinner make s'mores over the fire pit. Not tired yet? There are lots of board games to play , a pool table is in the family room.
IN THE MORNING
. Have a cup of coffee (or Bloody Mary) sitting in one of the outdoor padded recliners while you watch the outdoor television featuring an outdoor fridge ( to keep your drinks nice and cold) you will have the convenience of keeping an eye on the children swimming ( salt water not chlorine easy on the eyes) while you visit with family and friends. ( we have pool floats available for your use.)
(Swim diapers must be used for the little ones)
Head out to LAKE JUNE for a day of fun..the sandbar is a perfect place to spend the day playing and swimming.
THE HOUSE:
The kitchen features double ovens, quartz counter tops and is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, even an ice cream and bread maker.
In the family room you will find a 55" flat screen TV over a gas fireplace, furnished with comfy leather furniture and a pool table.
All of the bedrooms have 32" screen TV's and have Netflix and Amazon programming along with Direct TV.
Just want some quiet time?? Grab a book from the office/library and relax with a glass of wine in the large living room.
Fish off the boat dock using your fishing poles ( ours if available) or just enjoy the view down the canal sitting on the patio furniture on the dock. If you do not have a boat you can still enjoy everything Lake June has to offer as we have a 3 person CANOE and 2 kayaks for you to use to paddle up and down the many canals. INCLUDES LIFE JACKETS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN AND must be worn at all times on the canal or lake.
IF YOU NEED A BOAT RENTAL LET ME KNOW I do not rent boats but, I have a contact that I will share with my renters.
If you would like to spend the day at the beach (east, west, and southern beaches are only and hour and a half a way)
Spend the day at Disney (2 hours from Lake Placid)
