This private cabin is situated on 20 acres and borders National Forest property. Our driveway is two-wheel drive accessible. With 400 sq. ft. modern comforts include WiFi, hot tub, brazilian tiled bathroom, central HVAC system, a tankless water heater, a full-sized laundry room and pillow topped queen mattress all while still being able to enjoy nature. There is a queen-sized bedroom, one bath, a fully stocked modern kitchen/dining area, a large living room with two rollout couches as well a child-sized loft featuring built-in entertaining area and a queen-sized mattress.
With WiFi Running Squirrel Ridge is a great place to semi-disconnect from the world and reconnect with family and nature. The cabin boasts a 1200 sq. ft. deck, propane grill, patio furniture, picnic table and family-sized bonfire area. If that weren't enough, relax in the 5 person hot tub!
Don't miss hiking the two improved hiking trails; the on-property ridge trail takes you along a forested trail with 5 natural log benches to rest on along the way to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy the view of Lake Nantahala. On the property across a handmade bridge and stairs, there are three swings that the children love to play on. You may also enjoy wading in the creek below or enjoying the large play area located across from the entrance of the driveway, great for football, frisbee or yard games.
